Labor Hospital Bag

I am a first time mom and one of the most asked questions I receive is, “What’s in your hospital bag”? After looking at a few different lists for ideas and tweaking what I think is best for me, I am ready to share what’s in my bag!

I didn’t want to overpack as the hospital does provide a lot of items and I will be using them. I don’t think its necessary to have duplicates. Feel free to use this as a guide when you’re packing your own hospital bag.

I have linked most of the items I am packing on the list. Just click the highlighted words. Comment on this blog if you feel I have forgotten something SUPER important :)

Ok my checklist:

  • Pajamas (I am packing 2 comfortable nightgowns that have built in nursing bras. As well as a button up nightgown that I can pair with baggy pajama pants if I want. )

  • Robe

  • Nursing bralette

  • Flip Flops ( I grabbed a pair from Old Navy for $3. I am sure the Dollar tree has them as well)

  • Underwear. (1 pair “grandma style” aka comfort and 1 pair to come home in. I will be using the mesh underwear the hospital provides during my stay)

  • Slipper socks( 1 pair and 1 pair of regular socks)
